Broccoli sprout beverage and airborne-pollutant excretion
Excretion biomarkers rose for benzene by 61% and acrolein by 23%, but not crotonaldehyde. This demonstrates short-term pharmacodynamic activity in a high-exposure setting, not reduced cancer, lung disease, cardiovascular events, or mortality.
