Hibiscus sabdariffa for mild-to-moderate hypertension
Hibiscus lowered blood pressure versus placebo by about 6.7/4.4 mmHg in pooled analysis, but not in the metabolic-syndrome subgroup and not more than active treatments. Long-term efficacy and cardiovascular outcomes remain unknown.
