Effect of lactase on symptoms and hydrogen breath levels in lactose intolerance
Symptoms and breath hydrogen improved with lactase, with cumulative hydrogen about 55% lower than placebo. This was an acute laboratory challenge, not evidence about long-term dairy tolerance or nutrition.

Effect of a single dose of lactase after lactose challenge
