Meta-analysis of dimethyl sulfoxide and methylsulfonylmethane for knee osteoarthritis
The pooled pain reduction was neither statistically nor clinically significant. Only one eligible trial directly tested MSM, so efficacy and long-term safety remain unestablished and the combined participant total is not assigned to MSM.
