Inositol for polycystic ovary syndrome: evidence review for the international guideline
Some metabolic measures may improve, but effects on many outcomes were absent or uncertain. The guideline evidence review judged support for inositol in PCOS limited and inconclusive and called for shared decision-making rather than treating it as equivalent to established care.
